3 Week Intermission

While it is true that I am writing this post from a very exciting very big new city...in recompense for my blogging absence...here's what I did in a magical place free from responsibility and adult-like things: TEXAS!

I know very few have spent substansial amounts of time in the state that brought us Willie Nelson, the Space Center, and of course, everyone's favorite President.... LBJ that is. SO, here are a few things you may not have known can occur in the wonderful Lone Star State.

It can be raining and really hot at the same time.
You can get a daiquiri the size of your femur.
The Houston Gay Men's chorus can be so fabulous you think sequined vests are a good idea.

Horses can live across the street.
Backyards can have lake's in them.
Mosquitos can assail you upon exiting your home.

Oversized SUV's can live their lives without judgement or condemnation.
Jesus Fishes can procreate.
You can find a parking spot.

You can drive through a town with no grocery store, but a Sonic.
The horizon line comes before a hill.
Bevo's cousins roam free.

Bruins can beat a ranked team.
Fast Food can take forevzies.
Oreo cheese'quake' blizards in the middle of nowhere are still delicious.

Oh, and you also pack up most everything you own and move to a new state. That can happen too.
