IMDB defines it as the original CougarTown.
No matter how you see it, the final nail in the coffin of my adolescence has been hammered in. Whether or not i act like a grown-up from here on out, I have completed the last official rite of passage into adulthood. How?
Tai Chi+Sociology+Ballet+Theater History+Scene Shop+Ancient Near Eastern Studies+Caffeine= a B.A. in Theater from UCLA.Overall? The week was just stressful. Not too sad, not too exciting; just a whole lot to get done. Here we are all going through a major life transition, trying to say goodbye to our classmates and underclass friends, moving out, entertaining our families, still exhausted from the quarter, and TFT expects me to sit through a 2 hour ceremony? Oh yikes, my focus was NOT there....(we may have taken pictures while sitting onstage)...

After I officially became an Alumnus, while some other families when out to restaurants in Westwood and West LA, my family did the most genius thing ever conceived by man: swanky food and sweat pants. My parents hotel overlooked the FOX backlot with a gorgeous balcony, so we all just went back to the suite, had beautiful hors d'oeuvres, sangria, and a very pretty, chocolatey cake. All the while I sat in my comfy pants on a couch. Really lovely but still so low key- exactly what I needed after a nutso week.
NOW FOR A BRIEF PHOTO TOUR THROUGH THE DAY OF GRADUATION!
A group of my Cru friends met before ceremonies began for the day to snap some shots around campus. In our group there were 5 different colors of tassels- very diverse! College of Letters and Sciences (white for BA, yellow for BS) School of Nursing (tangerine) School of Engineering (orange) and School of Theater Film and Television (brown-lucky us).
My roommates and I stayed absolutely true to form with some pictures that may not have captured the gravity of a college graduation. Oh, well.

A little known UCLA tradition is the Myth of the Inverted Fountain! At your orientation before beginning freshman year, each student is 'baptized' as a Bruin from its waters. Legend has it that every time you touch its waters before you finish school, you are bound to spend an extra quarter at UCLA past your 4 years. (an expensive mistake to make) It is the right of every graduating student, after their last final, to wade in its waters having completed the task set before them when they arrived. We waded, splashed, forded, and posed.
The night ended with the final house party of college. And yes, during the 20 min. I was there I did see a keg-stand. Check out the range in this picture! Far left- a high school bestie, Miss Carly Weckstein from MVHS. My right- Nicholas Tubbs, a friend from my orientation group and every day since. His right- Rachel 'the panda' Lee, my future roommate. And her right- JMT, an addition we only got as juniors when she transferred. This picture = ghosts of friendships past, present, and future. The best part of all this? Gerber is now making a special line of food designed for people like me! They fit my budget and calorie limits for an actress. Life after college is going to be SOOO SAVORY!
